Carlos Bandeirinha

Mr. Carlos Bandeirinha received his M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Instituto Superior Tecnico (IST), Lisbon , Portugal , in 2006. From 2005 to 2006 he was the responsible professor of Digital Systems in the technical school, Escola Profissional de Electronica e Telecomunicacoes (EPPET), in Lisbon, Portugal. From 09/2006 until 12/2006 he was research associate in the Spoken Language System Labs (L2f), in Lisbon Portugal. In 2007 he worked as assistant in the Multimedia Signal Processing Group in Ecole Polytechnique Fédéral de Lausanne (EPFL), Lausanne, Switzerland. He worked in the DISCOVER project, Distributed Coding for Video Services (http://www.discoverdvc.org/) and in VISNET II , networked audiovisual media technologies (http://www.visnet-noe.org/). He was also assistant in the laboratories of Image and Video Processing.
