Shuiming Ye

Dr. Shuiming Ye received his PhD in computer science from National University of Singapore, Singapore in 2007. His PhD thesis focused on Multimedia Security and Forensics, Multimedia Processing, Digital Watermarking, Cryptography, Quality Evaluation, and Error Resilient Multimedia Transmission. From 2003 to 2007, he was a research assitant in Institute of Infocomm Research, Singapore. He received the BS and MS degrees in electrical engineering, from Tsinghua University, China, in 1999 and 2002, respectively.

In 2008, he worked as a post doctorate researcher in Prof. Touradj Ebrahimi’s group at the Signal Processing Institute, EPFL, Switzerland, working at distributed video coding and video quality evaluation.

His research interests include image and video coding, multimedia security, image and video analysis, computer vision, and multimedia transmission.
